Remarks
Trim Airfield lies under class "G" airspace which is un-controlled.
Aircraft arriving from outside the Shannon FIR may close their flight plans with "Dublin North ACC" sector frequency 129.175 or 118.500
Warnings
All other aircraft should establish radio contact with the airfield on 123.30 ( please not this is not always manned, but radio calls indicating intentions should still be made)
There is a bright yellow barn located at the north end of the runway. This is clearly visible from miles around and is a distinctive landmark in the trim countryside. Close proximity to the town of trim and the near by football pitches can also be used as a visual reference when locating the airfield.
