Warnings
Do not fly over local dwellings. Especially the village of Waybourne to the easthttp
There is an active automated RAF weather station between the northerly runway thresholds.
PPR not required
The runways have a slope downhill from south to north.
No fuel.
Landing fee – minimum requested contribution £5.00
Was the smallest operational RAF base in England during WWII, it was used for anti aircraft gunnery training.. The gun emplacements are still visible at the north end of the longer runway.
The airfield is located in the grounds of the Muckleborough Collection (military vehicle museum).
